University Honors Scholars must complete a total of 26 credits of honors courses along with regular participation in service leadership and honors social events.
University Honors Scholars may select housing with other Honors Program students while all participants will have access to a common Honors Program community space.
University Honors Scholars may receive some additional scholarship support not to exceed full tuition costs.
University Honors Scholars will be recognized at graduation and have this distinction noted on their transcript.
Selection is based on several factors including superior academic, service, and leadership achievement. A letter of evaluation/recommendation is required. An individual interview and extemporaneous writing sample are also required. These will be scheduled during the early spring.
