Harrogate, Tennessee, April 23, 2018 – The second annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Conference sponsored by the Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM) Alumni Association will take place June 8-10, 2018, at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The event is open to physicians (both DOs and MDs), physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
“Essentials of Clinical Medicine” will cover a variety of topics useful to the busy health care practitioner. Up to eight hours of CME credit are available. Presenters and topics include:
This year’s conference also features a keynote address by Dr. Joseph F. Smiddy of Kingsport, Tennessee. Smiddy is a well-known pulmonologist and medical missionary who serves on the LMU Board of Trustees. Smiddy will deliver his keynote address at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 9. The conference begins with an opening reception on Friday, June 8, at 6 p.m. CME sessions take place from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 9, and from 8 a.m. to noon on Sunday, June 10.
